Jose Antonio (Joe Tony) Frias, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon E. (Seeley) Frias; sons, Joseph Anthony, Michael James, and Steven Edward; daughters, Maria Rita Daw (Phillip) and Denise Michele Frias; five grandsons, Seth, Elias, Malachi, Zebadiah Daw and Isaiah Frias; three granddaughters, Kateri and Angellisa Daw and Eliana Frias; brother, Jesus (Jess) Frias; sisters, Flora Bencomo, Mary Frias and Lenore Frias; and numerous extended family members and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Petra (Grijalva) Frias; and his son, John Frank Frias. Joe was employed by ACF Industries/General Electric Aircraft Engine Group for 45 years, retiring in 1998. Joe was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, and he will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Joe on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, on the corner of Lomas and Tennessee NE, where he was an active member.
