Rocky Brown, 53, passed away early Thursday morning, July 15, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sharon; three daughters, Amanda Romero and husband Juan, Karyn Brown, and Jaime Gaines and husband Jesse; and three granddaughters, Sierra Romero, Jordan Gaines, and Alyssa Romero. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Margaret Brown. Rocky was a Vietnam-era disabled veteran and also served in Korea with the US Army. He was a truck driver for 15 years. He was an avid collector of both guns and knives. Rocky had a special love for his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at French - Westside Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
