Louisa P. Tafoya, 80, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 10, 2010. Mrs. Tafoya is survived by her children, Simon Tafoya and wife, Connie, Edwina Chavez, Kenneth Tafoya and Martie, Anthony Tafoya and wife, Barbara Ball, David Tafoya, Mary Louise Silva and husband, Joseph and Joshua Tafoya; her sister, Bernie Gabaldon; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Rose Tafoya. Mrs. Tafoya was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Nick Nichols, presider. Private Disposition will take place at a later date.
