Obituary for MILLS

Craig Easton Mills, age 61, passed away on July 5, 2010. He is survived by his four children, Marina Ibarra, Arielle Mills, Alima Jimenez, and Andrew Mills (the children of Alma Miera); and his four grandchildren, Nicasio, Blaise, Theoni, and Katriel; he is also survived by his father Easton Mills; his sister Jan C de Baca; his niece Alicia Sharpe; and nephew Chris C de Baca. We all loved and cared for him with all our hearts. Craig was a very talented musician and a passionate collector of guitars and other musical instruments. He spent much of his free time playing music with friends and recording songs. He was also a fine wood craftsman and left behind many beautiful objects that he created by hand. He had a free and peaceful heart with fascination and love for all things spiritual and mysterious. After spending his earlier life in Albuquerque, Craig lived in Columbus, Ohio for twenty years and worked as a craftsman and project manager at Michael Matrka, Inc. for over fifteen years. He returned to Albuquerque in 2007 to be closer to his family. His ashes will be placed in a family niche during a ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107 at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010 followed by a memorial service and family gathering at the home of Easton Mills in Albuquerque at 12:30.
