Joe Remijio Baca, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 4, 2010. Mr. Baca is survived by his brothers, Joe G. Baca, and Evaristo Baca and wife, Carmen; his daughters, Mary Clara Dominguez and husband, Joe, Frances Lopez and husband, Fred, Bernadette Chavez and husband, Paul, and Denise Lopez and husband, Frank; his sons, Mike Baca and wife, Geraldine, Manuel Herrera and girlfriend, DeAnna Chavez, and Adrian Herrera Sr. and wife, Darlene; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his wife, Cordelia Baca; his parents, Teofilo and Fredolina Baca; his son, Gilbert Baca; and his brother, Cipriano Baca. Mr. Baca was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday, July 9, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m, Father Tom Noesen, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Dominguez, Jason Dominguez, Manuel Herrera, Gilbert Baca, Frank Lopez and Adrian Herrera Jr; Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Velasco, Christopher Lopez, and Michael Baca.
