Richard Allen Padilla, 60, life long resident of Albuquerque, NM born June 28, 1949 to Joe P. Padilla and Helen Nunez Padilla went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday June 26, 2010. Richard is survived by his parents; his only child, Ricardo Padilla and wife April of Virginia; two grandchildren Diego and Monte; sisters Rita "Lucy" Chavez and husband Ray, Christine Romero and Husband Jerry; brothers, Joe Padilla and wife Grace, Robert Padilla and wife Susie, Jerry Padilla; and many nieces; nephews; friends and family. Richard is preceded in death by one sister Edna Chavez. Richard enjoyed taking pictures and was known for his love of the New York Yankees and was a music aficionado. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services celebrating the life of Richard will be Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the 8Th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary.
