Obituary for LARCY

Joseph Larcy, 86, passed away early Saturday morning June 26, 2010. His beloved wife, Charlotte, was by his side. Joseph was born in Bronx, NY, in 1924. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1941. Joseph served in three wars, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, during his distinguished career. He retired in 1984 as a full-bird colonel. Joseph was a true patriot and civil servant. While fulfilling his obligations to the Reserve Service of the USAF, he commanded the helicopter bureau of the Nassau County, NY, Police Department. Upon retirement he and Charlotte moved to Albuquerque New Mexico. Joseph had a successful real estate career in Albuquerque after his retirement from military and government service. He was preceded in death by his son Bradford Larcy. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Charlotte Larcy; two biological daughters, Claudia Gisonda and Cynthia Salek; two step-daughters, Ellen Swartz and Beth O'Rourke, and eleven grandchildren and ten great -grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Manzano Del Sol Chapel, 5201 Roma Ave NE, Albuquerque 87108. Visitation will follow the memorial service from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave, SE.
