Obituary for FRAZIER

Forest Glenn Frazier,Sr., 84, went to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He served his country in the Navy on the USS Alabama during World War II, from 1942 to 1944. This was something he took great pride in and attended many reunions with fellow shipmates for several years after the war. Glenn, as he was known by those close to him, was an avid sportsman who enjoyed deer hunting, duck hunting, fishing and an occasional golf game in his more active days. He loved parties with his family and friends. He was an electrician by profession and worked for Zia Company at Los Alamos Atomic Energy Laboratory. He was a business manager for the Local 611 IBEW from 1968 to 1974, worked for Sterns and Rogers Consulting in Denver and later served as a manager at PNM from which he retired. He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Linda Vin Sant; and grandson, Walter Glenn Frazier. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Bogard) Frazier; son Walter Glenn Frazier and wife Ina; daughters, Gloria Vanderslice and husband Bob, Debbie Frazier; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The viewing for close family and friends will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Service Carlisle Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. June 29, 2010 with interment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens.
