Kathleen Lawhorn, 90, died June 26, 2010. She is survived by her sons, Col. Paul Lawhorn and wife Linda, John Lawhorn and wife Martha; grandchildren, Sean, Dawn, Thomas, Laura, David, Alex and Shannon; and several great-grandchildren and many other family and family friends. Mrs. Lawhorn was preceded in death by her husband, George Fredrick Lawhorn; son Fred Lawhorn; and parents Charles and Minnie Williams. Kathleen was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Twosome Sunday School Class and a member of the choir. Kathleen was a member of the American Red Cross during World War II. She was also active in Christian Women's Club and Sombra del Monte Extension Club.
