Beatrice D. Director, 87, resident of Albuquerque since 2004, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Director and Marsha Director of Albuquerque, and Ava Gross and husband, Robert of Gardiner, ME; grandchildren, Rebecca Rowlands and husband, Peter Sylvain of Salem, MA, and Sarah Rowlands of Boston, MA; and her beloved longtime canine companion, Mitzi who she rescued from the pound. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Director. Beatrice was born and raised in Bronx, NY. She was married for 52 years to Howard who retired as a Lt. Col. from the US. Air Force.
