Aurora Lopez Martinez went to be with our Lord and family members who preceded her in death on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Aurora was born to Josefa and Emilio Lopez at Casa Salazar, New Mexico on January 2, 1919. She is survived by her husband, Filiberto M. Martinez; her daughter, Tomasita and husband, Dwight Frodgue; two grandchildren, granddaughter, Franki Maria and husband, Michael Garrett; grandson, Filiberto C. Frodgue; five great-grandchildren, Kellan Garrett, Brannon Garrett, Alli Garrett, Nikoli Frodgue and Jazmyne Frodgue; three great-great-grandchildren, Alexa Villar, Ella Shafer and Ashtyn Mullen; three sisters, Theresa Borunda, Jeronimita Baca and Margaret Lujan; as well as many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at the Corrales Cemetery adjacent to the Old San Ysidro Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Filiberto Frodgue, Michael Garrett, Kellan Garrett, Brannon Garrett, Emilio Lopez, Jr. and Andre Sanchez. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
