Michael Francois Richard Bidal, 75, passed away on June 11, 2010. Michael was born in Coronado, California on December 4, 1934. He was the son of Comte Edouard Bidal d' Asfeld and Ysabel Beattie Stafford. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Lillian; their sons Michael William Bidal and his wife Martha, and their children, Brendan and Megan Bidal, of Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland and Robert Charles Bidal and his wife, Cindy, and their children, Cathryn and Daniel Bidal of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Other relatives include half-brothers, Comte Marcus Bidal d' Asfeld, his wife and children, and Comte Yves Bidal d'Asfeld, and his children in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In lieu of flowers charitable contributions may be sent to the local Parkinson Support Group or to the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
