Obituary for NORMANDIN

Lillian M. Normandin, 82, born February 29, 1928, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010. Lillian was a devout Catholic. She loved her family and the many friends that loved her dearly. She regularly attended water aerobics three days a week and met with her girlfriends for lunch afterward. Lillian was a longtime Sales Associate of the Broadway Department Store and Sanger Harris Department Store, both were in Albuquerque. She loved dogs, especially golden retrievers. She raised and trained many of them. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Normandin in 1990. She is survived by daughters, Deborah Kogut of New Jersey, granddaughters, Bernadette Kogut of Florida and Jessica Kogut of New Jersey, their father, Jim Kogut of New Jersey; Diane Normandin-Scott and husband, Bradley K. Scott of Albuquerque; son, David Normandin of Albuquerque; sister, Marge Tworek of New York; and brothers, Frank Printsky and wife, Fran of New York and Louie Printsky and wife, Jane of New York. Per Lillian's request there will not be a funeral service. A private interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be beside her husband, George. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico and Vista Care Hospice Center for the excellent care they provided for Lillian.
