Dorothy "Dottie", a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Buxton, Alice and her husband, Lyle Davis and Sharon and her husband, David Wilson; sons, Don and his wife, Francesca Thompson and Ron and his wife, Lucy Thompson; grandchildren Darius Upshaw, Janell Hughes, Alec Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Karla Russell, Rebecca Collins, Jennifer Balaco and Kelly Reeder; 11 great-grandchildren; and four grand-dogs. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald A. Thompson in 1999. The family wishes to thank Mildred Palma for being their mother's friend and loving caregiver for the last two years. Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at French Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. She will interred with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
