Margaret "Margie" Elizabeth Greer Gillespie, 76, died May 28, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ben J Gillespie; her children, Karol Gillespie Nimick and husband, Fran of Edgewood, Anne Elizabeth Broughton and husband, Brad of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Sarah Salazar and husband, Zaqueo, Kathleen Boroch, Aileen Nimick and Kevin Broughton; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Maud Wigley Greer. Margie was chosen a Los Alamos "Living Treasure" for her charity work in northern New Mexico, was a successful florist and active member of her church in Los Alamos. She received her Associates Degree from ENMU in Portales after attending high school in Amarillo, TX, where she was a National Merit Scholar. A Memorial service will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., June 2, 2010 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Burial will take place at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM.
