Obituary for HAMBLETON

Virginia Pearl Hambleton passed away on 5/7/10 after an illness with cancer. Virginia was born in 1933 in Roosevelt, OK. Her family moved to New Mexico in 1936. Virginia worked many years with Mountain Bell, where she met her late husband, J. Woodrow Hambleton who preceded her in death in 1984. She worked the last decade with the City of ABQ and the Police Dept. as a Crossing Guard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Polley and Ibre Lee Brazell; and her siblings, Polly Beal and I. Valjean Brazell. She is survived by siblings Glen Brazell and Annabelle Boatright; and numerous cousins,neices and nephews. She was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and spent most of her life in service to her God, Jehovah. Funeral Services are to be held Sat. June 5, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8904 Menual Blvd NE, ABQ, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in her name to The American Cancer Society. Virginia will be missed.
