Edna I. Lineburg Lee, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-mother, passed away on May 22nd, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born the eldest of three daughters to George F. and Florence Fay Sargeant Lineburg in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 9, 1913. Edna graduated from Churchs Ferry High School and Valley City Teacher's College in North Dakota. In her earlier years, Edna was a second grade teacher. In 1936, she married Knute H. Lee. He preceded her in death in 1988. Edna and Knute moved to Albuquerque in 1968 having been transferred from Washington, DC with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She is survived by her three children; Sharon Evans and husband Alan of Billings, MT, Susan Herstedt and husband David of Albuquerque, and son Knute H. Lee, Jr. and wife Ann all of Albuquerque. Also surviving Edna are her beloved grandchildren; Kirsten Farmer and husband Richard, Kjelse Curtis and husband Bradley, and Knute H. Lee III (Cody) and wife Erica. Her four great-grandchildren Haric, Cameron, Gordon and Vivian Joy as well as numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. There will be a private family graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
