Josephine Marie McCall Cook, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for 65 years, passed away on May 12, 2010 in her home. She was born September 16, 1924 in Salt Lake City, UT and moved to Nampa, ID at the age of twelve. She and her husband, Pearl, were married for 65 years. She is survived by her husband Pearl Cook of the family home; daughter, Susan Cox and husband Earl; son, Robert Cook and companion Audra Arwood; seven grandchildren, Shanelle Cook, Timothy Cook, Allison Cook, Aaron Cook, Stacy Simpson and husband Buddy, Wesley Cook and wife Laura, and Michael Shackelford; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Thomas McCall, Jr. and wife Shirley. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three children, William Cook and infants Alice Cook and John Cook. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends may visit on Sunday May 16, 2010 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at French-Wyoming Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1100 Montano NW. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine's name to your favorite charity.
