Henry Salas, age 74, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010. He was born on July 3, 1935 in Guadalupe, NM to the late Alberto and Cleofas Salas, and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a carpenter by trade. Henry is survived by his loving sisters and brother, Celia Manley, Monica Ortiz, Susie Gonzales and husband Alex, and Ronald Salas; numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Henry will forever be remembered and loved by all. A rosary will be recited Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where the Service of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, on Edith between El Pueblo and Ranchitos Road. Casket Bearers will be Alex Gonzales, Sandie Gonzales, Pete Marez, Erlina Gonzales, Scotty McDougle and Pula Gonzales.
