Lisa K. Gonzales Jensen, 44, of Edgewood, N.M. passed away suddenly on Friday, April 30, 2010. She was born and raised in Albuquerque. Lisa was dearly loved, her beautiful smile and laughter will surely be missed by all who knew her. Lisa touched many lives in positive ways always with generosity; she selflessly gave her heart and soul on caring for others, never to hold a grudge. Lisa loved her life, family, friends, and scuba diving, we loved her dearly. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Jason Jensen; mother-in-law Martha; children Nicholas Manning and Jasmine Jensen; mother Maclovia (Mackie) Taylor; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was taken too soon from all of us, but we know she is in good hands alongside her grandparents, Esequiel and Ferminia Gonzales; brother Paul James Peiffer; uncle, Esequiel Gonzales Jr.; and stepfather Cliff Taylor. A memorial service will be Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., with viewing at 9:00 a.m., at the Mormon Church in Edgewood, NM. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Lisa Jensen's name can be made to the Animal Human Society on 615 Virginia NE, Albuquerque, NM.
