Helen Stone, 70, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and resident of Albuquerque for 32 years, passed away at home with her husband by her side on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Helen was born on December 3, 1939 in Gadsden, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Emmett Stone; her children, Bruce G. Stone and wife Carla, Angela Young and husband Harold, and Zan J. Stone and wife Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Zandrea, Crystal, Britney, Sergei, Melanie, and Tanya; her siblings, Edna Harris, Louise Copeland and husband Charles, and Charlie B. Robinson and wife Winnie, and many extended family members and friends. Helen was a loving wife and mother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Lomas location from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. A memorial service will be held at French Lomas location at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010 with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
