Josefita Sandoval, 97, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Sandoval and Esther Armijo (Tommy) of Hesperia, CA; grandchildren, Patricia Maldonado (Richard) and Stephanie Flores (Tony); great- grandchildren, Amber and Aaron Maldonado and Jennifer and Anthony Flores; and many good friends. Josefita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Enrique. She loved to crochet many beautiful things including round bed Afghans, doilies and blankets. Over the years, Josefita taught herself how to speak English. She was a wonderful homemaker, and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She always told her friends and family that she was praying for them and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosary for Josefita will be recited on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church 11401 Indian School NE. Mass will immediately follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. French 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE (505) 275-3500
