Obituary for HAWLEY

Thomas Hawley, 98, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in the home of his son and daughter in Bedford, Texas. A mass service will be held at Queen of Heaven Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico located at 5311 Phoenix Avenue NE 87110 on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Knight of Columbus Charities in memory of Thomas Hawley. Thomas was preceded in death by his lovely wife Josephine Hawley of 63 years; and two brothers, Clifford and Bill Hawley. Thoams Hwley grew up at the St. Anthony's orphanage in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended business school. He was the prprietor of Hiland Bowl in Albuquerque, New Mexico adn later the Amarillo Bowl in Amarillo, Texas and was inducted into the Amarillo Bowlers Hall of Fame. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by six children, Richard Hawley and his wife Rosalie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Marty Ethel Parker and Allen Hawley of Bedford, Texas, Theresa Garst and her husband Gerald of Dumas, Texas, Clifford Hawley and his wife Kathy of San Antonio, Texas and Walter Hawley of Carrollton, Texas; 19 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; and many numerous other family members and friends who will keep his memories alive.
