Rosemary Starr McCormick, age 87, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 05, 2010. Rosemary was born on February 10, 1923 to the late Ernest and Irene (Giannini) Soderlund. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Carl Warren Starr; second husband Frank Leo McCormick; sister, Diane Soderlund; three daughters, Rosemary Starr, Sandra Kroll and Barbara Starr. She is survived by her children, Carl Starr and wife Nancy, Gary Starr and wife Judy; Wendy Starr and husband Michael Grigsby, Mary Webb and husband Kendall and Janet Jones and husband Larry, Ed McCormick and wife Melody; 19 grandchildren, Carl, Christine, Pamela, Bart, Karin, Todd, Alison, Morgan, Gary Jr., Catherine, Donald, Barbara, Emily, Michael W., Haley, Sheryl, Frank, Michael and Elizabeth; 24 great grandchildren, Chrystal, Savhana, Jordyn, Kyle, Brenda, Gary III, Casey, John, Alexandra, Sophia, Daniel, Nina, Max, Julia, Tess, Eva, Mikaela, Ema, Jennifer, Joseph, James, Justin, Thomas, Amber; four brothers, Richard Soderlund and wife Lorraine, Ernest Soderlund and wife Sue, Donald Soderlund and late wife Marion, Carl Soderlund and wife Joan; two sisters, Marion Funke and late husband Chuck, Lida Barney and husband Bob; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8th at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with a final viewing on Sunday, May 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont St. NE, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
