Celestino Griego Sr. of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 4, 2010. Son of Bernabe and Elena Griego,Celestino was born on February 21, 1921 in Dixon, NM. He was a retired carpenter and worked for the Disabled American Veterans for many years. Celestino was a loving person and always enjoyed making people laugh. Preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 61 years Margaret Alire Griego; his son Johnnie Lee Griego; a sister Alice Griego; two brothers, Manuel and Juan Griego. Celestino is survived by daughter Helen Quintana of Albuq; two sons, Celestino Griego Jr. and wife Carmen of Albuq, Danny Griego and wife Evelyn of Raton; a sister Lorraine Chavez of Albuq; two brothers, Ernesto and wife Lugarda Griego of Dixon, Samuel Griego of Velarde; Celestino is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and friends.Services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Temple in Dixon NM. Burial to follow on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Dixon. Funeral arraingements are under the direction of the Alderete Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton, NM.- 575-445-3757
