Jeffrey L. Gregg, age 55, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother died suddenly and unexpectedly of heart failure on April 28, 2010. Jeff is survived by his son, Jeffrey B. Gregg and wife, Danielle, and their daughters, Madailein and Olivia; daughter, Juli Gregg and her daughter, Alexa; mother June Gregg; and brothers, John Jr., Steven, and Leslie Gregg and several nephews and nieces. Jeff is also survived by Deborah Fricke, mother of his children; and ex-wife Mary Gregg to whom he was married for 23 years, and step-daughter Renee Adams and her son Jacob. Jeff was preceded in death by father, John Gregg; and brother, Michael Gregg. Jeff was born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Manzano High School. He played the trumpet and bugle and was very active in the Boy Scouts of America. Jeff served as summer camp counselor and had many tall tales to tell about his experiences with the Scouts. Jeff loved the outdoors and took every opportunity to go hiking, camping and fishing. Being the middle brother, Jeff developed skills of persuasion and became a successful salesman and franchise owner. Jeff had big plans for the future and was very involved with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, May 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
