Msgt. Frank N. Lovato. I am sad to tell you that our beloved father, grand father, survivor, hero, and mentor passed away on April 20th. He suffered a freak accident on April 9th (Bataan Day) that was to difficult for his 89 year old body to recover from despite all the efforts of the wonderful medical staff at the Albuquerque Veterans hospital. He was born October 21, 1921 in Barelas, served in the military for 21 years. Services will be held as follows: A viewing starting at 3:00 p.m. Monday April 26, 2010 - Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons, 400 3rd Street Southwest -Albuquerque. Tuesday April 27, 2010 - Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church - 10:00 a.m., 811 Guaymas Place Northeast- Albuquerque. Full Military Burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery - 1:00 p.m., 501 North Guadalupe Street Santa Fe, NM. Franks wife Evangeline Herrera Lovato passed away on December 7, 2002. He is survived by his brother Joe; sister Polly; and children, Francisco Lovato, Marie Lovato, Debbie Humphreys, Patrick Lovato; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-great-children.
