Obituary for BROWN

Marvin H. Brown, age 97, an Albuquerque resident for more than 60 years, passed away on April 15, 2010. He was born on December 6, 1912 in Fulton County, Indiana to Florence (Rickel) and Arthur Brown. He worked as a security guard at Sandia Laboratory from 1949-1970. He was a member of University Heights United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, politics, reading and family activities. Survivors include his daughters, Pauline Nipper and husband Tom of Locust Grove, Georgia, Charlotte Campbell and husband Jarret of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren Donna Poole of AK., Sam Nipper and Harold Nipper, both of GA., Marletta Warner of WI., Charlene McDonnough of SC., Tina Maxwell and Roseann McDowell both of NM., Joy White and Daniel Bullard both of AZ; twenty great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; and niece, Beverly Jo Brown of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Emery) Brown, his parents and brother, Raymond Brown. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 23, 2010, at University Heights United Methodist Church, 2210 Silver SE. Inurnment, Sandia Memory Gardens.
