Bertha M. Ojeda, born January 7, 1933 in Des Moines, NM, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. Bertha was a flamenco dancer, performing at many fiestas over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and skiing. She WAs preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Juanita Ortiz; husband, Miguel Ojeda; daughters, Genevieve Dominguez and Louise Ortiz; and granddaughter, Racheal Thornton. Bertha is survived by her six children, Alan Armijo and wife, Adrianna, Debra Hartjoy and husband, Jeff, Liz Shaver and husband, Randy, Philip Dominguez; Beverley Bowlin and husband, Todd, and Mark Dominguez and wife, Sharon; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; 13 brothers and sisters; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 92110 Albuquerque, NM 87199.
