Ruth Lockner, 92, passed away quietly at home on Monday, April 12, 2010. She is survived by her children, Peter Lockner, Gretchen Kryda and husband, John, Thomas Lockner and wife, Donna, and David Lockner and wife, Roberta; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Lockner in October 2006. Mrs. Lockner was born February 10, 1918 in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Lockner married Avery Lockner March 1939 in Rochester, NY. She also lived in lower New York State (Long Island and then Garnerville, NY), followed by Tijeras and then in Albuquerque. She was a homemaker, mother, hairdresser, school bus driver, pianist and soprano.
