Susie Gutierrez, 94, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 12, 2010. She was a homemaker and loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was a very special person who left something special with each and every person she touched. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gutierrez; son, Ben Gutierrez; and grandsons, Dion Quevedo and Adrian Gutierrez. She is survived by her daughters, Rosalie Aguado, Eileen Gabaldon and husband, Dan, and Carolynn Gutierrez and husband, Donald; brother, Robert Miera and wife, Stella; sister Elisa Miera; grandchildren, Darlene Manzanares and husband, Ray, Bernadette Cala and husband, John, Pamela Chavez and husband, Fidel, Rick Gutierrez, and Rodney Gutierrez and wife, Marlene, Danny Duran, Alex Aguado, Chris Quevedo, Carlo Sena, Cathy Vaughan, Ashley, Andrew and Anthony Gutierrez; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Jude, Angelica, Monique, Mark, Andres, Laura, Derek, Rodney Jr., Phelicia, and Ashton; great great-grandchildren, Angelique, Monet, Senaida and Christopher; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Gutierrez will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny, Alex, Rodney, Andrew, Rick and Dominic. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Jr., Andres, Mark, Jude and Anthony.
