Obituary for DIXON

Dorothy Dixon, A resident of Albuquerque since 1981, went to be with our Lord and the rest of her family on Friday, April 2, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Dorothy was born January 23, 1919 in Oak Hill West Virginia. She moved with her daughter Jean to California in 1959 then again to Albuquerque in 1981. She was a loving, giving, wonderful, selfless mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Jean Hart; two grandsons, Eddie Crist and Nick Hart both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four nieces in northern and southern California; 25 of their children; as well as 13 nieces and nephews in and around Oak Hill and Glen Jean West Virginia; and numerous children of theirs. No memorial in Albuquerque or in California. Funeral and memorial will be in Oak Hill West Virginia on September 8, 2010 with the entire family. The family would like to thank all those who helped them in the past few months, especially Dr's and nurses at Presbyterian hospital, (Dr. Cano). A special thank you to those wonderful nurses at Kaseman Hospice, Jan, Kathy, Linda who were so helpful and comforting to the family in their time of grief and pain.
