Obituary for MCDONALD

Howard "Bud" McDonald, 80, born November 30, 1929 passed away March 27, 2010 peacefully in his beloved rocking red recliner. He served in the Air Force from from 1951 to 1955 and was stationed in Korea during this time. He moved to Albuquerque in 1960 where he started his own business, Custom Pools. He returned to his first love and taught Physical Education in APS for 30 years. During his many years in New Mexico he also worked for the COA Parks and Recreation Dept., enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends, word working, tinkering, golfing and family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, father-in-law, granddad, brother, uncle, golf buddy, teacher,and friend. He is survived by his wife Mickey; son Eric and wife Danielle; daughter Malia and husband Greg; grandchildren Kent, Shalyn and Jalen; sister Shirley Brown of Riverside, CA. and her four children and their families. Services will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 12500 Carmel Ave. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Reception at the family home following the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to charity of your choice.
