Carolyn E. LaCourse, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert M. LaCourse Sr.; son, Robert Jr.; grand daughter, Maranda. She is survived by her children; two daughters, Laura McDowell and husband, Terry, and Margaret Roose; one son, Frank LaCourse and her daughter-in-law, Sharon; grandchildren, Lynnette, Jean-Paul, Leilani, Felicia, Jasmine and Chance; great-grandchildren, Alex and Connor. She worked for various nonprofit organizations, Save the Children, Clothes helping kids, Indian Cultural Center. Carolyn loved people, animals, gardening, and a house full of family and friends. She will be missed by all. Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary ~ Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., Santa Fe National Cemetery. Donations can be sent to the family to offset medical expenses.
