Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday March 26, 2010

Michael Weldon Quetone Sunrise: 10/20/1965 Sunset: 03/26/2007 My son, my son it has been three years since you left us and our pain is still intense. A graveside memorial service is in place at Mt. Scott KCA Tribal cemetery in Oklahoma. Your aunt Reverend Deborah Quetone Wilson will conduct the service. Seven candles will be lit by your cousin Jimmy Shrock. These candles represent: LOVE - is not self-seeking, protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. JOY - feelings of happiness, loved to laugh. PATIENCE - calmly persevere when faced with difficulties. LONG-SUFFERING - enduring in the face of difficulty. KINDNESS - sympathetic, compassionate, and caring. GENTLENESS - mildness PEACE - serene, calm Galatians 5:22. Responsive readings and a Kiowa Easter song will follow. Eddie Onco will conduct the burning of cedar for cleasing, clearing, and blessing. Michael, Michael you are missed by your family and your true friends. Until we meet again, MAY THE "WAR EAGLE" CONTINUE TO GRACEFULLY SOAR HIGH AND PROUD IN YOUR HONOR, FOREVER AND EVER. With love, your parents Sara and Buddy Quetone
