Obituary for STUEBER

Robert Stueber, 93, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2010. He resided in Albuquerque for over 59 years, where he owned and operated a general contracting business. He is survived by four daughters; Frances J. McGinnis, Janice E. Pollard and husband Bill, Janine Carter and husband Thomas, and Judy E. Chiado; one son, John R. Stueber and wife, Camille; one brother, James Stueber and wife, Marie; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Robert always loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter his entire life. Being a great fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team, he rarely missed watching them on T.V. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, as well as a devoted usher at his church for many years. A memorial rosary will be recited on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at French University Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. ennichement will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
