Obituary for PAQUES

Arthur Paques, 76, resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 11, 2010. He was born on May 17, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, OH, the only child of Octave and Agusta Paques. Art worked at Cooper Bessemer from 1952 until 1972. He and his family moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1972 where he owned and operated ABC Moble Brakes until 1986. After that, and until his passing he was a successful entrepreneur, made beautiful sculptures, and was a skilled wood worker. A wonderful husband and father, Art is survived by his wife of 54 years, Millie; three daughters, Theresa Paques of Albuquerque, Diana Paques of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Patty Torres and husband Raul of Chamisal, NM; twin sons, John Paques of Mt. Vernon, OH and Jim Paques of Albuquerque; three granddaughters, Alex and Emily Bricker of Mt. Vernon, OH and Lindsey Campell of Dallas, TX; and one grandson, Kyle Paques of Albuquerque. Art is loved by many, a true friend to all, and approached everyday like it was the best day of his life. A memorial service will be held at French mortuary, Lomas location, on March 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with a wake following the memorial at the family home.
