William Earl Canfield, born April 1, 1933 in Albuquerque, NM and passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 in Albuquerque at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his father, William Herbert Canfield; mother, Helen Elizabeth Coulter; and son, Holly Canfield. William is survived by his wife, Martha Canfield of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Randy Canfield and friend, Kim Klein, of Rio Rancho, NM, Ronald Canfield of Milton, FL; daughter, Elizabeth Canfield of Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Lesli Aguilar and her husband, Pat Aguilar, of Albuquerque, NM; step-son, Robert Schulte, of Albuquerque, NM; grandsons, Kevin Canfield of Rio Rancho, NM, Bryan Canfield of Albuquerque, NM, and Matthew Aguilar of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter, Alyssa Aguilar of Albuquerque, NM; three sisters, Dorothy Ohnstad and husband, Lyle, of Long Branch, WA, Rose Wood of Dalzell, SC, and Evelyn Facteau and her husband, Tom, of Santa Fe, NM; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. William was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Prostate Cancer Association of NM, the National Rifle Association, and Duke City Flyers. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, North Valley Ward, 110 Montano Rd NW, on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life potluck will immediately follow the Services. Private Family Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
