Roman Francia, 75, born January 20, 1935, a resident of Carnuel NM, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2010, surrounded by his family and the caring staff at the Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital. He is survived by his three children, son Alfred Francia and wife Rosemary of Roswell; daughter Roanna Padilla and husband Procopio of Carnuel; and youngest son Gilfred Francia of Carnuel; 12 grandchildren, Ashlerose, Alexandriarose, Jasmine, Procopio R. and girlfriend Courtney Ellis, Victorianna, Alejandro, Eugenio, Antonio, Emiliano, Angelina and Mykala Saiz; two sisters, Angie Tafoya and husband Gene of Albuquerque, Lupe Mares and husband Tomas of Carnuel; two brothers, Ernest Francia and wife Augustina of Albuquerque, and Candelario Francia and wife Judy of Carnuel. Roman also had many nieces and nephews that he cared very deeply for. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Child Carnuel Mission in Carnuel, NM. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Child Carnuel Mission in Carnuel, NM. Burial will follow at Carnuel Cemetery where he will join his wife Adelaida Fancia. Thanks to the staff at the Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital and to Riverside Funeral Home.
