Obituary for BAILEY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday February 14, 2010

Daniel "Dan" Bailey died with his boots off surprisingly enough, on Sunday, February 7, 2010. He was 61 years old. He was born on March 15, 1948 in Hayward, CA to Daniel T. Bailey and Louise Haines Bailey. He attended schools in Hayward and Alameda CA, graduating with the Class of "1964". Dan married some woman in 1967 and produced one son Stacy Jo of Springfield, MO. Dan served in the Outlaw Motorcycle Club for 30 plus years, holding many positions and posts honorably. Dan had many women in his life but two held close to his heart, Mary "Brat" Cummins Bailey of Brooks County, KY and Drew "Flip-Flop" Vick Bailey, who preceded him in death. It was a full time job just being Dan Bailey. So Dan didn't work much. He did, however, work in some strip clubs around Brooks County. Dan's hobbies were WOMEN, drinking, fighting and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Roxie and Jackie of Albuquerque, NM and family. Dan could be the best friend a man could have, or the only enemy a man would need. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Bailey and Louise Bailey; sister, Carol Brown; one wife Drew Bailey; and many of his Outlaw brothers. Dan is survived by nephew, Steve O'Brien and wife Peggy of Rocksprings, WY; niece, Kelly Fantin of Rocksprings, WY; great-nephews, George, Thomas and Avery; great-nieces, Senica, Danielle, Tera, April and McKenna; and many of his Outlaw brothers. A cremation has taken place. Dan's cremated remains will be spread along some highway off the back of a bike. In honor of Dan tell a story about Dan the day you read this. Dan's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services Alameda Mortuary 9420 Fourth Street NW Albuquerque, NM 87114 (505) 898-3160
