Carol A. Ortiz, 45, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Ernest Ortiz; mother Betty Angel; father Ed Angel; daughters Angel Kepple, Krystal Hernandez and husband Manuel; sons Fabian, Cesario, and Joaquin Ortiz and wife Sarah; sisters Jeannette Kearny and husband Kelly, and Laura Lynn Banda; niece Larinda Kearny; and nephew Eric Banda; grandchildren Kalyn and Adan Hernandez. She graduated from West Mesa High School in 1983 and for the past 11 years has proudly worked for McDonald's. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all that ever knew her. After cremation, memorial services will be held on Monday, February 15, at 5:00 p.m. at Sandia Valley Church of the Nazarene located at 2315 Markham Road, SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
