Margaret "Marge" (Flood) Brown, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971 died Friday, February 5, 2010. She was born to Frank and Rose Flood in Woodstock, IL. She is survived by her son, Stephen Brown of Springfield, VA and his wife, Barbara Hammond; grandchildren, Conor Brown of Lawrence, KS, Liam Brown of Springfield, VA, Stephen Doerfler of Pasadena, CA and David Doerfler of Olympia, WA; great-grandchildren, Dean, Matthew and Ryan Doerfler of Pasadena, CA; nephews, Charles Flood of Burr Ridge, IL and John Flood of The Villages, FL; and nieces, Nancy Flood Glaze of Algonquin, IL and Jayne Flood Salb of Boise, ID; Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt; daughter, Denise; and brother, Frank J. Flood, Jr. of Woodstock, IL. Mrs. Brown was very active in St. Bernadette's Parish and was a woman whose devout faith sustained her. She was 100% Irish, had a razor sharp memory and loved basketball. She will be remembered for her generosity to her family members, friends, and many charities. Friends and family may visit French ~ Wyoming Chapel on Thursday, February 11, 2010, beginning at 6:00 p.m. until the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary, at 7:00 p.m., with Deacon Byron Wicker, reciting. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 12, 2010, 9:00 a.m., at The Shrine of St. Bernadette's, 11401 Indian School, NE, with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles and John Flood, Conor and Liam Brown, Douglas and Stephen Doerfler.
