Stella Maestas passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the age of 84. Mrs. Maestas was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Maestas; son, Herman Maestas; and daughter, Ruth Sanchez. She is survived by her son, Richard Maestas and wife, Georgia; daughter, Josie Bachicha; brothers, Richard Vigil, and Albert Vigil and wife, Nellie; sister, Irene Ferber and husband, Bill; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Mrs. Maestas will be recited on Thursday evening, February 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary.
