Ramona Montano, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010. Mrs. Montano is survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Avedon Montano; her children, Patricia Cordova and husband, Steve, Avedon Montano, Jr., Marty Montano, Johnny Montano and wife, Bernadette; sisters, Clorinda Vallez, Patsy Baca and husband, Frank, Dorothy Priest and husband, Randy; her brother, Eddie Rael; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Montano was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel by Herman Flores, recitor. Final visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Nick Nichols, presider. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
