Obituary for SLAGLE

Kenneth D. Slagle passed away Monday, February 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette; their son, Rob; sister, Bonnie Slagle of Chino Valley, Arizona; two grandchildren, Sam and Cassie; as well as several other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Kenneth was born in Petersburg, Virginia and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. His parents were Richard and Verna May Slagle (both deceased). Kenneth Honorably served his country in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam. He was with the 101st Airborne and the 173rd Airborne. Kenneth was a fireman at Kirtland Air Force Base for 28 years and then worked for Loomis Fargo for ten years, after retiring as a fireman. A Memorial Service will take place at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Kenneth was a wonderful man who was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed.
