Obituary for MORGAN

Frances (Fran) M. Morgan, 92, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Douglas W. Morgan. She is survived by her sons, Robert S. Morgan and wife, JoAnne of Tucson, AZ; Douglas W. Morgan, Jr. and wife Barbara of Albuquerque; and her daughter Nancy R. Adzija and husband, Michael of San Antonio, TX; grandson Aric S. Morgan, and wife Julie; granddaughters, Meredith M. Morgan, Crystal R. Adzija, Aubree M. Adzija, and Carrie L. Morgan; great-grandchildren Charley, Thomas, Carolyn and Alexander. Frances was born in Lynn, MA. She married Douglas on June 14th, 1940 and moved to Los Alamos while Doug was serving in the Army. Fran worked for the City of Albuquerque and was instrumental in developing the City of Albuquerque Tennis Program that introduced thousands of people to "the game." Anyone that knew Fran knew that she was the life of the party, with a sassy sense of humor. Fran loved doing puzzles and was a huge supporter of the Animal Human Society. Private graveside services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Fran's life will be celebrated on Friday, February 5, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Tennis Club of Albuquerque, 2901 Indian School Rd NE. Please come and say goodbye.
