Mrs. Claudia Ann Nobles, born June 1, 1935 in San Francisco CA. Parents were Rowland A. and Jean M. Boone. Claudia was raised as an Air Force Brat in: Hemet, CA; San Antonio, TX; Long Island, NY; and Colorado Springs, CO (where she graduated from high school). After high school, Claudia attended secretarial school, honing her typing and shorthand skills. She obtained a secretary job for the Safety Office at Hamilton AFB, in San Rafael, CA, where she met her husband Bobbie Nobles. She and Bobbie married in the Hamilton AFB Chapel, then they spent the next three years in Europe. Claudia supported her husband through three other overseas tours by raising their son, David "Gary" Nobles. Claudia continued using her secretarial and administrative talents in various schools and doctors offices and also volunteered in administrative jobs with bowling leagues, refugee programs and officers wives clubs. Claudia also ran the administration department of Nobles Tax Service. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobbie Nobles, and one son, David "Gary" Nobles, who lives in Rio Rancho with his wife Sherry. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at French - University location, 1111 University Blvd. NE. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2010, 3:00 p.m. at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. with cremation to follow.
