Isabelita Vallejos, age 81, a resident of Valencia County for over 20 years and a former resident of Albuquerque, NM for 50 years, passed away on January 29, 2010. She was born in Cubero, NM to the late Estanislado and Adelida Chavez. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Narciso Vallejos. Isabelita is survived by three brothers, Joe, Carlos, and Roy Chavez; three sisters, Micklita, Arlene "Rosie", and Anna; six sons, Richard, Johnny, Narcie, Toby, Jimmy, and Mike Vallejos; four daughters, Linda, Virginia, Irene, and Rita; 32 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. A Public Viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Final Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 2 at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Richard, Jr., Johnny, Jr., Troy, Toby, Jr., Vincent, and Phillip. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lance and Steven.
