Alice Joan Bachen was born January 5, 1944 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 in Albuquerque. Alice attended Hialeah High School in Hialeah, Florida. She attended USC Berkeley and worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at BAART in San Francisco and Pittsburg, CA. Alice was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Negron; brother, Edward R. Bachen and by her father, Robert S. Bachen. She is survived by her mother, Ethel Snavely Bachen of Albuquerque; her brother, Robert H. Bachen of Roy, NM; grandson, Kevin Seward of Bristol, CT; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at the Solo Club, 2500 Candelaria NE., on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 2:30pm. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008
