Obituary for ANGEL

Procopio "Cope" F. Angel, 92, of Kyle, TX and formerly of Los Lunas, NM, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. He was born August 20, 1917 to the late Albert and Altagracia Angel. Procopio proudly served with the Army Air Corps for 5 years during World War II with the 17th bomb group. He is survived by his son, Ferman Angel and his wife, Patricia of Los Lunas, NM; daughter, Louise Ann Henderson and her husband, Herschel, of Kyle, TX; grandchildren, George Archuleta and wife, Olga, Angela Angel, Jonathan Medina-Hererra and wife, Rachelle, all of Austin, TX, Brian Angel, Robbie Angel, Christina Jolly and her husband, Josh and Jennifer West and her husband, Jason, all of Los Lunas, NM; and 11 great-grandchildren. Copes is also survived by his cousin, Albert "Pete" Angel who was like a brother to him. Procopio was preceded in death by his wife, Fidencia "Faye" Angel and his grandson, Tony Kris Angel. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel, Sunday, January 31, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment with military honors will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Archuleta, Brian Angel, Robbie Angel, Jonathan Medina-Herrera, Albert Angel, and Joe I. Dominguez.
